Trevallion Stud was established in the 1960”s by  Nelson Smith and his father Nelson Smith sir. It is now run by Sonia and Dean Smith.

We are situated in Balsall Common very close to the centre of England.

Over the last years Sonia and Dean continue to show, breed and judge Welsh section C”s and D”s with a wealth of knowledge and blood passed down from Nelson Smith senior who is still very hands on.

We have been ver successful in the show ring winning many major accolades including owning 3 out of the 4 Prince of Wales Cup Winners bred here at Trevallion.

We breed foals every year and are very particular with our breeding plan producing beautiful true to type Welsh ponies and cobs for the in hand and ridden world.
